Why is Flat White's sales down? Is it a data issue?
Likely a data gap, not a real drop.
Flat White's Jan sales look complete, but Feb has no weekend till takings after the 14th. That pattern matches a missing data feed, not lost trade. Their Eftpos settlements bank show deposits with no matching sales invoices. What I'd do: hold this return and ask the client to push their POS export for 15–28 Feb. I haven't changed anything. This is below my autonomy line for sales figures.

Daily sales, February 2026
Trade is steady through the 14th, then the feed goes quiet. The dip isn't gradual. It's a clean cut-off, which points to a missing export rather than a downturn.1 Feb↑ feed stops · 14 Feb28 Feb
Bank deposits continue after the 14th 9 deposits, so trade didn't stop, the sales records did.
